Cheap ink, but does the job well

I bought this ink to print photos on my iP4700 and I have just placed the order for the 2nd pack.

Good things about this ink:
1) It's cheap
2) It seems to be fairly consistent, meaning that when I switch the cartridge of yellow, for example, color balance of the print doesn't change much. I am curious to see if the 2nd shipment will be close to the 1st one as well.
3) After using a color calibration software and hardware, I am able to get a great prints with vivid and accurate colors.

Not so good thing:
1) This ink is not close to the original ink, so if you just use this ink and don't do any color balancing, you will get, for example, an image with a purple sky instead of a blue one.

Overall:
This ink is surprisingly good for being so cheap. With proper calibration it can be used for printing great photos, it will also do fine with a regular document printing. However don't bother buying this ink if you are expecting to print photos, but don't have the calibration hardware - you most likely will be disappointed with the result.

UPDATE
I went through 3 packs of this ink so far.
Unfortunately the color of the ink does change a little between different cartridges, so I have to re-calibrate my printer every time I switch a cartridge (in fact - I just switch them all at once, as it's easier). I still think this is amazing ink for the price, I will definitely continue using it.

It has been over a year since original review and I am continuing using this ink. My printer still works fine, I had no issues when I didn't print a thing for a little over a month, I am still getting great prints on my printer.

Horrendous Product

I opened the package and removed the orange plastic that covered the cartridge opening. Ink started spilling out all over. This happened with 2 of the cartridges in the order. The rest are going back.

Great ink at a great price
